Next-Generation Sequencing

WACCBIP runs a next-generation sequencing laboratory for genomic & transcriptomic analysis of host & pathogen DNA/RNA. We have invested in advanced sequencing equipment such as the Illumina MiSeq system and the Ion Torrent Personal Genome Machine (PGM) that support NGS applications including small whole genome sequencing, targeted gene sequencing (for both amplicon-based and gene panels), 16S rRNA sequencing, targeted gene expression profiling, and miRNA & small RNA sequencing.
