WACCBIP draws on the expertise of accomplished scientists across the African continent, who contribute to cross-border research on infectious and non-communicable diseases endemic in Africa.
The Centre's regional faculty also supports efforts to train young African scientists in extention of the goal to create a cadre of world-class scientists across the continent collaborating towards easing Africa's high disease burden.
